The Sake-Tini

Beautifully refreshing and refreshingly potent, my take on the aromatic-tinged Sake-Tini replaces the Vodka with Gin, preferably Hendricks, and slightly ups the cucumber elements. Sake is known as rice wine but is technically a rice beer and can be found in most supermarkets.

Chill your martini glass. You need cucumber, Hendricks gin (infused with cucumber and rose), Orange curacao (or Cointreau), cocktail shaker and ice.

Recipe: 4 slices of cucumber, 1 shot Hendricks, 2 & 1/2 shots Sake, 1/2 shot curacao or Cointreau.

Place 3 slices of cucumber and 5 ice cubes in your shaker, add the gin, Sake and curacao, shake well for 1 minute. Strain into the chilled glass and garnish with a single slice of cucumber. Enjoy
